What is an advanced system?
The advanced actuator systems – whether dual or single – are intended for bed designs where additional actuators or accessories are desired. In addition to low noise levels and compact built-in dimensions, which allow for maximum free space under the bed, these systems offer integrated features such as memory for favourite positions, integrated Under Bed Light, and the option to add further adjustment features or massage motors.
The systems are designed to integrate seamlessly – typically with comfort beds – without compromising the overall design.
Advanced dual actuator systems
The advanced versions of the LINAK® TWINDRIVE® are dual actuators with low noise levels and compact built-in dimensions, allowing for maximum free space under the bed. They feature an all-in-one unit – two actuators in one with an integrated control box.
Dual actuator use cases:
- TD4 Advanced is ideal for slatted beds requiring adjustable backrest and leg support.
- TD5 Advanced is ideal for box spring beds due to its lifting capacity of up to 7,000 N, supporting adjustable backrest and leg support.
Advanced single actuator systems
The advanced versions of the LA18 IC single actuator set with integrated controller are compact, low-noise actuator systems capable of pushing up to 6,000 N. These versions allow for direct integration of additional actuators or massage motors.
Single actuator use case:
- LA18 IC Advanced is suitable for beds specifically designed for single actuators. Each LA18 IC can push up to 6,000 N. The IC technology ensures fewer cables and components, simplifying installation compared to other single actuator systems. It supports adjustable backrest and leg support, with the option to add further adjustability features, such as foot or neck adjustment, favourite positions, and massage functionality.
